Q: Will a SUNGARAGE CONVERSION KIT fit all types of garage doors?

Q. I see the SUNGARAGE kit is offered for 8,9, and 10 ft garage openings. I have a double garage with a straight top across. Can I still install a Sungarage?
A. Yes, but it hasn’t been tested. Double garage doors range in size from 12 to 20 feet, the most common double garage door size is 16 feet. The railing comes in 4- and 5-foot increments and all curtains are custom made (even the ones offered) so physically there shouldn’t be any reason it can’t be done. It just hasn’t been tested therefor; it isn’t offered at this point. If you would like to try, please email to discuss. The kit will be sold to you AT COST, no profit, to partner for the testing.
Q. Can the SUNGARAGE curtains be left on and still shut the garage door?
A. Yes, but depending. If you just let hang not attached to side of garage, no problem. The garage door can still be closed and the curtains attached to garage sides with hook and loop fasteners depending on placement. This was easily done during testing.

A. 12ft in length x 8ft in width of your basic thin carpet. Anything larger than that will probably be too big for one person to roll up and synch in place with the carpet storage straps. Q. What size folding tables can the table storage hook hold?
A. 1 ¾ inches in thickness maximum. You also have to consider how thick the table legs are and how well the fold up. The thinner the tabletop the better for fit.
Q. Can the flooring, storage racks, table storage hooks, still be purchased if my garage door isn’t right for the rails with curtains?
A. Yes! The great part of the SUNGARAGE conversion kit is it could be purchased in the parts you want and can use. Painting, flooring, shelving, and the table and carpet storage system will still give you a 100% more awesome garage.
